BodyBlast Solo...

BodyBlast Solo.... not quite! 

Hong Kong has been blessed with lovely warm weather, so I got up at 0445h this morning for a few loops to Kennedy Road and back.  Out by 0530h when some people were just going home from all night partying, yes I did see a few....

1 hour cycling, b'fast and Skype call later, out again at 0900h for tempo run on Bowen, very glad to see MANY runners and saw a few familiar faces, though for a moment I thought I was running through Lady's Market.

12k later, thought I could do a BodyBlast Solo at the usual spot, and boy, I WAS bullied by kids!  Just when I was about to do inverted row with the swing, a 3-year-old (or younger) said 'NO! NO! YOU CAN'T!' I thought he couldn't possibly use TWO swings at one time so I asked his mother for permission with using the spare one.....  Long story short, here is the workout today,

15-min HIIT - presume you've warmed up, do as many sets as you can in 15 minutes.
  • Hips Extension/ Inverted Row, using a swing/ TRX, 10 reps
  • One-Legged Lateral Push-ups, 10 reps
  • Skier Jumps, 20 jumps
Cool down with Superman and Torso Rotation.

My performance - 8 sets in 15 minutes.
Verdict - way easier than taking bullies from a 3-year-old.
